for about $400. I am primarily looking at the Adire Audio Rava and the Velodyne cht-10. I like the Rava from all the things I've heard about it, but wonder if it will go low and loud enough for movies being that its sealed? The Velodyne I am going to listen to today, but on paper looks pretty impressive. Any insight, or other suggestions for the same price range?

    Thanks for all your help

BTW I have Paradigm MiniMonitors and CC370 for the fronts and a H/K AVR220 for the receiver.

Around $400 I like the Rava. Other options are the HSU VTF-2 or the SVS 25-31CS provided you have a spare receiver or amp to power it with.

Take a look at the Mirage FRx-S10. I ended up buying this after looking at Klipsch, Velodyne, et al. I really liked the way it sounded, very tight without being boomy. I got it for $399 at an authorized Mirage dealer.
