Diana Krall: Live In Paris is another great sounding DTS title.

    Wrong forum BTW

Queen "Live at Wembley" on DTS sounds great. Greatest Hits I and II on DTS are both excellent though a lot of their fans aren't too happy with the mixes as well as the pseudo widescreen treatment.

I'll second Live in Paris. [IMG] Awsome DTS, better than HFO, IMHO.

If you like that sort of thing, Nine Inch Nails All That Could Have Been DTS is full bitrate and sounds excellent.

Steely Dan's Two Against Nature, ELO's Zoom, Toto's Live In Amsterdam, Frampton Live In Detroit, there are quite a few that "sound" really good. As for the performance, that's another story (the four mentioned above are excellent IMO [IMG] ).

The Led-Zeppelin DVD in DTS is killer. Page on the right, Jones on the left, Plant in the middle, Bonham all around. Considering Page was working with old analog tapes nearly over 30-20 years old is a testament what a good engineer can do. You can tell the age of the tape with the dynamic range it can provide yet it still is wonderful to hear. Lastly, try the Criterion version of The Rolling Stones "Gimme Shelter" on how a concert movie/documentary should be done. "Hell Freezes Over" is fantastic being the very first music DVD I ever bought. Question is how can anyone tell whether the DTS track is full bit rate? I look on the packaging yet I've never seen any manner of indication if it is indeed full bit rate. I have quite a bit of DTS discs so it would be interesting how a user can tell. Thought I'd thrown it my two cents and a question lest this thread gets moved. [IMG] Cheers all!

Gene mentioned some of the best, and I'll second them, except I have never heard the TOTO live disc.

    Some others are:
Talking Heads Stop Making Sense (not DTS)
    Sinead O’Connor Thank you...
    Sade Live (not DTS)
    Sheryl Crow Live

The Sinead disc has the most clear and clean vocal track I've ever heard, it sounds so live and real if you close your eyes you'll think she is singing in your living room.

Go get it [IMG]. Seriously though, great sound and performance. And nice audience participation. These guy's really know how play and put on a show. They aren't just a pop/rock band, they truly are musicians.

I'm already googleing it, thanks for the tip I love TOTO and am very familiar with there musicianship. Did ya know that the song Rosanna was written about Steve Lukather's girlfriend Rosanna Arquette? Well its common knowledge probably, but I have a deep respect for the musicianship of TOTO.

The Eagles in DTS is pretty darn good but I think Boyz II Men in DTS is the best I've heard.

Unfortunately, the two DMB titles that I have are only in DD format.

DMB - "Live at Folsom Field"
    DMB - "Listener Supported"

Roy Orbison "Black and White Nights" has been a DTS fav for years now.... and when I set up a home theater for friends, it's one of the first dvds I throw in to impress someone.
Another fav is King Crimson- Vroom. This one has mutiple camera options which, when used, also changes the perspective of the DTS soundtrack... pretty neat!

Premonition- John Fogarty -GREAT party dvd for old farts like us.....
Sarah Brighman- La Luna - mesmerizing

I agree that the Boys II Men DTS title is excellent...
