i have a basic aiwa 5 speaker plus sub speaker system now and plan to upgrade. i like the kenwood vr 5080 for the rf remote control but i would like input from others who own similar receivers like Denon AVR-2802, Harman Kardon AVR 520, Harman Kardon AVR 325, Onkyo TX-SR700, Yamaha HTR-5590, Sony ES STR-DA3ES. the setup is for a regular sized living room with a 27" tv and toshiba sd3109 dvd player. thanks.

At our shop (in Mpls, sorry) we're selling the Integra 6.2 for $599. The new 6.3 model sells for $899. I think the 6.2 would be a great deal and save you a few bucks.

I got a H/K AVR-520 a couple of weeks ago and I am quite happy with it. The only major drawback is if you need more than 5 channels of amplification. If not, it's hard to beat the price you can get on it.

Do you have any specific questions about it?

There's a few threads over at avs forum that compare the $1000-ish and sub-$1000 receivers. Might be worth checking out.
