Best Progressive Single-Disc DVD Player - don't care for Audio (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

I am concentrating now on getting the best picture on my tv set, an Aconda. I've been out of the loop lately so I need some direction from the experts out there.

I am not playing music nor have a six-channel speaker system. I haven't upgraded, still doing 5.1. All I care about is getting the best DVD player to mate with my TV to get the most out of it. Picture Quality is my main concern.

My price range is from $100-300

No six-channel speaker system, but still doing 5.1? What do you mean? Are you still doing stereo (2.0)?

In your price range, you ought to look at the Panasonic DVD-RP91. Retail stores sell it for $400, but I've read here about people getting it by mail for $290. Do a search.

Oh, and the 'RP91 does DVD-Audio should you decide to address audio.
