Does anyone know who will have the best price of Angel: Season 3? Online or store?

I'm hoping for one of those Best Buy deals where you can get Season 2 and 3 together for less (for the obvious reason that I'm missing it).

The best price might be an amazon share the love deal. Regular price is $38.99. Then subtract the 10% from share the love.

For the previous sets, Costco & Sams Club have always come in at $40. That's pretty much what I will be counting on for Tuesday.

The online price for Best Buy yesterday was $39.99.

I highly recommend buying Angel Season Sets at a local retailer. I bought Season 1 at Best Buy and it had 3 floaters which I had to return (we actually broke open 3 sets which all had floaters, and I mixed and matched until I had one whole set).

I bought Season 2 from Overstock and didn't check in time for return, only to find 2 floaters. I'm going to call Fox's number to try and negotiate a trade for discs.

One or two Buffy sets also had floaters, but I bought those locally. It seems like packaging for these sets is questionable at best when it comes to disc safety. I'm going to be buying Angel 3 locally even though I could probably save a few bucks online. That's worth it to have a B&M place to easily return any scratched floaters.

Thanks for the response! I will probably try either Best Buy or Costco if someone doesn't come up with a better one.

Thanks, I don't think we have BJ's here. [IMG]

I also usually go to CostCo for the Fox box releases b/c a dollar or two savings is not worth the wait. For Angel and Buffy sets I always give the package a little shake to check for floaters. I don't know if this actually works, but I haven't been let down yet!

Costco had Buffy Season 5 at $36.99, so I'm hoping for a chance they'll have Angel Season 3 at less than $39.99.

In the past, Costco had a buy 2 get $10 off deal on the Buffy/Angel sets. They'll probably have it again on Tuesday.

Like someone else said, Angel Season 3 DVD at amazon.com with share the love is about $35. No tax or shipping charge.

My son got it at the local Costco Saturday for that $36.99 price. With Fox digipacks we can't take the chance to buy online, anyway. He's had two sets with scratched discs.

On a slightly positive note: it looks like Fox has changed the hubs on their multipacks (at least for Angel S3). No floaters, and everything was secure and in pristine condition! [IMG]
