Best plasma (HDTV) for the money? Dell? (1 Viewer)

I have Samsung 42" plasma that I love.

Now a friend whats me to help them select one, preferably within a 'reasonable' price range.

Given that I find Dell has a nice 42" HDTV setup for $2950 (using discounts) including shipping.

Anyone have another suggestion in that price range or an opinion of the Dell plasma?

Make sure it is a true HDTV and not a EDTV. I would be leery of purchasing a Plasma at that price. Is'nt it the $5000.00 and up ones that are the "Good ones" to own? I am no expert...but that is what I have been told.

I am not slamming Dell. I own two Dell 'puters and I like them. They are reliable.
