best plasma $5000-$8000 (1 Viewer)

Just like the thread says, what is the best Plasma display for $5k-$8k? Looking for a friend.

I suggest visting avsforum for an answer to this question. Basically, you are looking at a 50" model, probably either Panasonic, Pioneer, Fujitsu, or NEC. I personally favor the Pioneer 503cmx because of recent large price drops, upgradeability, and the availability of a new internal scaler.
