Can anyone recommend a good plce for cheap DVD-R media?
I don't know that I can recommend them yet, but I just placed an order with cdrdvdrmedia.com, they were recommended by a few people, but until my order comes I can't give any real feedback.
www.newegg.com is also a place to check out.
I also highly recommend www.cdrdvdrmedia.com. The BeAll media is quite cheap and again highly recommend. Plus they have free shipping on most of their stuff! I like their site because they list what burners have trouble with the media you are looking at. They even give links to firmware upgrades for burners.
Thanks for the replies so far guys. I noticed CompUsa has their own brand DVD-R blank media priced at $19.99 for a 25 disc spindle which isn't too bad. I had to get them in a pinch but i know i can get a better deal online so i am going to pull the trigger soon because i am almost out. Thanks again for the suggestions. More are certainly welcome.
I second SUPERMEDIASTORE.COM. Have used them many times and have never been disappointed. Don't buy cheap discs, the money you save you'll give back in failed burns.
Watch for sales on RITEK brand media..they're good quality blanks.
Newegg has a 50-pk of the highly-regarded 4x Ritek G04s for $55 shipped free. And they ship FedEx supersaver - FedEx is really frickin' speedy shipping. My first 25-pk of optodiscs taught me the importance of good media. Don't buy cheap with DVD media, you will regret it.
supermediastore.com or allmediaoutlet.com I always compare, either one gets the job done
