Zorba the Greek is on Blu. Nicholas and Alexandra is forthcoming (via Twilight). I'd love to see following release on Blu : In the Heat of the Night, Atlantic City, Mississipi Burning, The Lion in Winter, Lenny and Elmer Gantry

Also out are:
Born on the Fourth of July
Kiss of the Spider Woman
A Passage to India
Howards End
A Room with a View (currently out of print?)
Reds (currently out of print?)
Also some have Region A imports available, such as:
Cleopatra (Region free release from the UK is currently available for purchase on the US Amazon site)
The Elephant Man (Also an import available on Amazon, but for a substantial mark up)
Where are some of these movies though? Quiz Show and Tom Jones have notably poor DVD releases that could really benefit from upgrades.

Thanks. I revised the list. Most shocking is that MARY POPPINS never made it. Maybe with the Christmas theatrical release of SAVING MR. BANKS (T. Hanks as Disney and Emma Thompson as the writer of MARY POPPINS)-we will see this as a tiein Bluray that would also coincide with its 50th anniversary next year (now I feel old!). The ones on the list Id most like to see are LENNY, NASHVILLE, ANNE OF THE THOUSAND DAYS, THE TURNING POINT and JULIA

Mary Poppins is being slated for a 2014 release for its 50th Anniversary. This was revealed back in late 2011/early 2012. It also helps that Saving Mr. Banks will get its home video release in 2014. I suspect they'll be released the same day.
The US release of Cleopatra should be this year sometime for its 50th.
