i hate that the coments that have come out of this thread have started.
i have over 2000 dvd's many of them are criterons.
They release a few titles a year (compared to major studio's) and are not to everyone's taste.
im with mike on this and i have been buying criteron since laserdisc its an eilte year for them in the titles they have chosen.
Just because its a critic fave doesn't mean its any good or that people will like it,
reviews are by there very nature subjective after all.
short cuts was the only film i was tempted with but its not even altmans best imo
