I gave up my gym membership and I want to get a good (but not $3k) treadmill to work out with and I am sure a lot of you guys have these so which brands work well and which don't.
I need a good heavy duty one rated at 250-300 lbs.

We just bought a Nordic Trak from Sears, they have Sears brand ones, but the NT felt way more sturdy, had a wider track and was only $100 more. We use it everyday and the motor has a lifetime warranty. We have been very happy with it. Good luck
