I was really impressed with front projection over RPTV.

I don't really want to spend more than 3000 dollars on the projector...

Could anyone recommend a really good one around this price range??

It MUST be XGA resolution. I don't mind the WSVGA though.. i think 848xXXX.

ALSO, what is a really good 120" or so diagnal screen that is around 500-600 dollars?? There are just so many choices, and I don't know what is the best buy.

Welcome to FPTV world Navid. Once you immerse yourself in it, there's no turning back. I got into it 3 years back with the Sharpvision XVZ1U and recently upgraded to one of the Sony HT's.
First of all, check this thread out for $2000 and less projector discussion. Also take a look at this thread for similar discussion.
For a $3000 XGA FPTV, I can think of the following units...
Plus V-1080
Studio Experience Cinema 17 SFXGA
and this WSVGA projector if you are looking at a moderately priced unit in that category...
Panasonic Home PT-AE100

Just under $3k, I think the best choice is probably the Sharp Notevision PG-M20X (XGA native DLP w/12 degree mirrors, 1900 ANSI lumens, 1000:1 On/off contrast, 800:1 ANSI contrast, DVI input, 3x colorwheel, only 80% clear section.
However, NEC's new LT240 and LT260 ($3100) look extremely favorable. They're just above your price range by a few hundred dollars. I'd personally look into getting the LT260 and spending a bit less on the screen.
NEC LT260
XGA native DLP w/12 degree mirrors
2100 ANSI lumens (1600 on the LT240)
1300:1 contrast
Rumored 4x colorwheel with 6 sections (still has clear)
6.4lbs
Sealed optics!
