I have a Link Removed . It's a 36" 4:3 flat tube that has all the features you want. It's very similar to the Sony Wega sets (I actually prefer the Panny picture, but to each their own) and comes in just under $2k these days. I've been extremely happy with this set, so you might consider checking it out...
