Any ideas on which is the best brand of CompactFlash card Type1? I am looking to upgrade my 8mb Canon S200 card to 256mb. I heard crucial.com is cheap but has issues. What about Kingston or Viking?

Wow, I just bought an S200 and I am also looking to upgrade the memory card. I've been looking on Amazon, and there is a Viking 128mb for $37. I think the 256mb card has a $25 mail-in rebate right now. You might want to take advantage of this.

I've been using those generic CF cards for a couple of years now. I don't need the write speed on more exotic cards because the camera makes up for the "lag" on my Mr. Flash CF cards.
Right now I'm "testing" out a Nikon CP 5700. Cool factor is nice as it looks like ur lugging a real SLR. U can shoot quite fast with it with no need to wait for it to write.
