Best cheap rears? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking into putting a surround system in my bedroom and I was wondering if anybody knew some good surrounds to get for under $150. Also, how important is it to match the fronts, JBLS38, and the these rears. Thanks for any advice.

If you could spend about $230 I would suggest the JBL S-36s

or for just under $200 you should be able to find the JBL S-26s. Either of these will be matched to the S-38s.

I have an S-center and have S-36s for both my fronts and rears. I like the sound of them. They need a good sub to help with the bass but that is why I am going to be getting an SVS soon.

But what ever you choose, have fun enjoying your system.

Have you considered using in-wall speakers? There are several manufacturers offering two-ways (6.5" woofer, .75" tweeter) in the range of $75 to $500 for a pair.
