It appears Best Buy is now charging MSRP or higher on some titles. This may be old knowledge to some folks, but I was surprised. I only looked at two titles in particular, but they can't be the only ones.

Wall Street MSRP $19.99 - BB Price $19.99
    Bridges at Toko-Ri MSRP $19.99 - BB Price $24.99!

Now there's nothing wrong with charging MSRP for something and really nothing wrong with charging higher than MSRP I just didn't expect it from Best Buy. I knew they raised a bunch of prices +$2 a while back, but not this. Guess I'll have to be even more carefull to know what things go for than normal when shopping there. Slowly buying online is becoming more attractive again. With the fairly good B&M pricing and the instant gratification I had started buying most of my stuff locally.

Sorry if this is old news.

    Brian,
It looks like the prices for both titles were reduced, but the store never adjusted the price tag down.

Well I just spotted each of the Beverly Hills Cop movies, previously $19.99 now $22.99. I guess the demand for these must be really great that they can raise the price. [IMG]

IMHO, Best Buy is only good for the week's loss leaders.

They almost never have any of the catalog titles that are coming out any particular week. If you ask, you get a deer-in-the-headlights blank stare and, after looking it up on their 'computer' they tell you that there is no such thing!
