...now through Sat. I heard they were giving a "Big" 5% off DVDs. The trick is that it combos with sales, from what I heard.

    Any scoop? Add it here...

It is 5% across all media types. The store I went to was filled with a bunch of xeroxed signs that say something to the effect:
"All DVDs, video games and CDs are 5% off..."
...followed of course, by lots of exclusionary language describing the many exceptions to the discount. [IMG]
If this is "THE SALE OF THE YEAR!!!" then I am unimpressed. [IMG]

I took my reciept from tuesdays purchases back to BB for a price adjustment. I got an extra %5 off, however the $5 off 2 DVDs from warner did not give the extra %5 off. I told the clerk that it should be good on that sale also, so she went in and did a manual adjustment.

All total I got a $4.90 refund on my $92 purchace.

I got a trick which worked pretty well...

Philips DVDRW228 normally $449, on sale for $283. Now if you can (and I can't see why not) use the $75 off DVD Recorder to get the price down to $208. On top of that there is a $50 rebate. So... you can get a DVD+R/RW drive for $153+tax.

    Happy hunting.

If 5% off is the "biggest sale of the year," I have little hope for post-Christmas DVD specials...

Can I use the 10% off coupon they sent me with the 5% off?

My closest Best Buy (Puyallup) had no idea what I was talking about when I asked them "what's the sale?" since the ad in the Thursday paper said "Biggest Sale of the Year!" Of course, I didn't save the ad when I visited.
