We're in the market for one because as Filipinoes, we usually stir fry stuff like garlic and some quite smelly delicacies like anchovies and dried fish. So one that takes away odors would be really nice. We're now "auditioning" an EcoProduct touted as a very good one.
If anyone has any input on these products please chime in so we can make a more "informed decision".

We just got the 3 pack of HEPA air purifiers at Sam's Club. They're made by Hunter. The package deal was $149 (filters included).

The big one has an ionizer and cleans a 20' x 20' room, and the other two are for smaller 10 x 12 room. All have 3 speeds

So far all are doing well and on the lowest setting they are pretty quiet.

One word of warning..DON'T I repeat don't waste your money on those Sharper image cleaners! Total waste of money as pointed out in Consumer Reports and other places.

    Good luck!
