I have a feeling you'll love the Swans, especially once paired w/ the PB10 when it ships. For around $500 I don't think you can do any better than the Pioneer 1014TX receiver. It's a very suprising value. It's built on the same chasis as the Pioneer Elite 52TX which costs $800. It lacks a few minor features that the 52TX has (12V triger, RS232 port, second composite monitor out 2ch audio output). It's available online for around $450 shipped. It has a very strong 7ch amp section, PLIIx, component upconversion, automatic speaker setup and room equalization, THX post-processing, as well as all your standard set of Dolby Digital and DTS processing. It includes a programable/learning remote w/ LCD read out at the top. It's very hefty for it's price point (nearly 40lb), a sign of quality components and a strong power supply.
I've just replaced my Elite 43TX w/ a 1014TX and love it. It's a great match to my Swans 4.1/2.1/C3 system.
Hope this helps
