it blows away anything I've seen in the last year. 9/10.

I've been wanting to see this for months. I'm not interested in (real) football much past liking the movie Victory, and I wouldn't know David Beckham if he came up to me on the street and started talking to me (though, not too much chance of that!), but I've liked everything I've heard about this movie.
(I'm sure I wouldn't recognize, um, Mrs. Beckham either, even if she were in full makeup. See, I know enough about him to know who he's married to. That's pop culture for ya)
I hope I can see this in the theater.
(I don't like American football at all, except for the movies M*A*S*H and North Dallas Forty. Those movies I like in spite of the fact that there's football in them)
