None of the specs on the usual store sites mentioned 16x9 anamorphic (deep discount dvd/amazon etc.). Is it 16x9?

If not...is there a region that has a proper transfer (like R2)? I remember something with Monsoon Wedding...I think that one was 4x3 lbx in R1 but 16x9 in R2...correct? Might as well hit both those questions in this thread. Trying to figure out which DVDs to order (region free NTSC/PAL DVD player).

    thanks!

    Keira! Oh my Keira!

Is it just me, or is there something totally awesome about her use of the word "bollocks" in this movie?!? :)

the UKR2 is anamorphic, don't know about the R1 (but I'd trust Robert).

Kain, I can only recommend the film.

and for that price its a bargain

John, her use of the word bollocks isn't the only awesonme thing about her. [IMG]

BTW David. dvdcompare ( http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=2502 ) list the R1 as anamorphic as well (cropped version also available) However I'm not too sure about the 1:1.78 of the UKR2 vs the 1:1.85 of the R1.
