Is there any news about this classic title? Man I loved Kim Novak in this, she was super hot, almost as hot as she was in Vertigo!

What news are you looking for? The dvd has been out for quite a long time now. It's anamorphic 1.85, though not a great picture, it's worth a purchase if you like the film.

Like George said, this title has been out for a couple of years now. The print is decent if a tad on the dark side but the colors seem a bit dull and usually 1950's Technicolor had a little more punch that what we see in Bell, Book & Candle.

Terrific film, though. I like it better with every viewing.

Not the best transfer out there, but with age and not a very recognizable title, I'm sure there wasn't much effort placed in restoring it (vis-a-vis NBNW or Rear Window). But I still love this DVD, movie's a favorite of mine and I agree that Kim Novak played her character really well.

Don't let a less than stellar transfer prevent you from getting this DVD.
