Is this a recommended cable for speaker wiring? I know this is audio cable and I understand that the 3 conductor would involve twisting two of the conductors (white/red) and tinning them to make the positive lead.Is there any other cable recommended for a higher quality DIY speaker wire?Thank you

It is intended for PA/intercom.

Yes. About 1500'. Was considering making some DIY and maybe even selling some DIY. I enjoy making it. What are your thoughts on performance? Any comparisons? I have no experience with speaker cables. I really want to do some DIY that performs nicely compared to the more expensive commercial cables.

Maybe I have the terminology wrong. I enjoy assembling cables. Taking the time to create speaker cables, tinning the ends with silver solder, terminations too if wanted, using techflex and some nice colored shrink tubing to give them a professional look.
