As part of their partnership with the San Francisco Film Preserve, Flicker Alley brings two seafaring Irvin Willat silent films together in a double feature Blu-ray release. First, Hobart Bosworth plays a German-American taxidermist whose patriotism during WWI turns into a plot of revenge in Behind the Door. Then, Bosworth reunited with Willat for Below the Surface, a tale of a father and son deep sea diving team pulled into a get-rich-quick scheme involving lost treasure. Behind the Door was previously released on Blu-ray by Flicker Alley, while Below the Surface is making its Blu-ray debut here.
