Is the Beavis and Butthead dvd from Paramount ever going to come out? I would rather buy this with extras than the Time-Life version. Anyone know?

I recall the "History of Beavis And Butt-Head" DVD from many months ago. In fact, I was all set to buy it until I found out it was pulled. To this day, I still don't know the reason why, but if whatever caused it to be dropped hasn't been resolved by now, chances are it never will IMO.

I believe it was some sort of a rights issue with the cancellation...but I'm hoping its cause demand was so high that they decided to just do season sets...

If you got the extra cash, you can find them on DVD selling for about $50. Real things too, not bootlegs.

I am well aware of the Time-Life collection. They are completely different from the "History of B&B" which was supposed to be released. It was supposed to contain all-new unseen cartoons.

The Time-Life set is basically a re-working of the VHS releases which were made available on video in the mid-90's from MTV Video SMV (Sony Music Video). In total they released 11 videos:

    "Butt-O-Ween"
    "Do Christmas"
    "Hard Cash"
    "Chicks 'N Stuff"
    "There Goes The Neighborhood"
    "The Final Judgment"
    "Innocence Lost"
    "Work Sucks"
    "Law-Abiding Citizens"
    "Troubled Youth"
    "Feel Our Pain"

What Time-Life has done is basically put 2 of the previously released videos on each DVD. I just want to make clear that the "History of Beavis And Butt-Head" DVD which Paramount shelved was to contain totally different material apart from the above said.
