As a college football fan, I was a 70s and 80s kid in the southern US. Years ago, espn released a TV movie about Bear Bryant and his Junction Boys team from 1954 at Texas A&M. I’ve Always felt espn went too far with the movie because a lot of the people that were on the team said the movie was full of foul language they didn’t hear Coach Bryant say. They also said that while he was tough on them, he never hit them or denied them appropriate medical attention.
Did anyone here see the movie? And have a different view ? I have read the book the movie is based on and even the author admits errors in reporting in the book.
