This is now my most anticipated film of next year! Gondry is a visual genius, add to that the manic energy of Jack Black, and this can not fail!

That is one weird synopsis. Sounds like a lot of fun too. [IMG]

Something tells me we aren't getting the whole premise here. Or at least I hope we aren't. Watching Jack Black & company act out scenes from popular movies sounds like a Saturday Night Live sketch, not a Gondry feature.

    Wow!

Something original from Hollywood? Don't they know that nobody has made a movie out of "CHiPS" yet?

This sounds awesome. I love Gondry, and Black can be hilarious with the right material, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Who is writing this? It sounds like something from the mind of Charlie Kaufman?

It sounds intriguing. I agree with Steve - the description we've had so far makes it sound a bit like another parody movie, but with an actual plot reason why all these scenes reference famous movies. But with Gondry attached, there must surely be more to the film than that. I'm just trying to imagine what this film will be like. I simply cannot visualise it at all, how it could possibly hang together. But I'm excited to see it.

Well, they haven't made it yet, but they are doing the CHiPs movie.

Wouldn't it be easier for them to just replace the tapes through Ebay or something?
