High-Def Digest lists two Public Domain Titles for August 12, 2008: "Last Time I Saw Paris" 1954 & "Beat The Devil" 1953.

Public Domain titles are notorious for being inferior to copyrighted titles on DVD and always sold @ bargain prices. Wonder how these films will look when authored on Blu-ray?

Note: The Studio name on both titles is now "Blu-ray Only" for both releases.

Hmm, would they actually get away with selling VHS transfers on Blu-Ray with no complaints?

They're both delayed till October now. I got notification from Amazon today.

Jesse if I get somethin akin to the quality level I got with the Short Circuit BD, I'll be happy. If not, I'll be out less than $20. I have the Angels With Halos Edition DVD of Beat The Devil. It's really nasty in other filthy ways, all-so. Can it get worse, maybe but for $7.95 I'll hope they made a little progress. If just the halos went to hell...? Last Time I Saw Paris I don't own on any format, for $7.95 I'll take my chances.
