    Region 1 BBC pre-order update for June

    For those in the USA/Canada interested in BBC Classic Dramas, the following title in DVD region 1 format is now available for pre-order:
    (Currently at Koch and DeepDiscountDVD only –June 18- but should be elsewhere in a matter of days)

    The Three Musketeers (1966) – Brian Blessed, Jeremy Brett (B&W 10 X 30’)

    I will be getting the Muskateers.I believe this has Jeremy Brett of Sherlock Holmes fame as D'artegen Strangely enough, Koch has released the Old Curiosity Shop, which is the same exact version that BBCamerica puts out in the Dickens Set2 coming in Aug.Other upcoming shows of interest would be House of Eliott third series, Marple volume 2 with Geraldine Mccuen, Hustle season 1 and Sharpe's Challenge.

    That is correct. Jeremy Brett plays D'Artagnan in this serial. The BBC produced a follow up series the next year but that starred Joss Ackland in the role instead.
