Battlfield 1942 I just got it and it won't install HELP!! (1 Viewer)

I looked all over for a specific answer for this problem.

I load the first disk and get to about 32%, there is a long delay while it searches for something. Then I get an error that says;

"specified component cannot be found in the media. An attempt was made to access a component that doesn't exist!"

It then stops loading.

Could it be the built in souncard??

Could be a corrupted disc, it happens. Try exchange it for a new copy.

Yeah, I'd say that one sounds like a bad disc as well.
