Since the damn tech support for EA sucks, I thought I'd try here. So I picked up the game, I install just fine, click on the icon to run it, and I get the splash screen, and then my screen goes black for a moment and I'm bumped back to the desktop??? I've been screwing with it for hours with no luck and find a red haze slowly settling over my vision.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] I have all the latest drivers, yes I'm sure!
    I'm running XP
    T-bird 1.3
    Abit KT-7,
    Geforce 4 4200
    512 ram.

Just thought of this, but this is the first game since the DOS days that i've ran into any real trouble? Guess I've been lucky. I've forgot how frustrating this can be!

This Forum has been better tech support for me than EA.
Some (unverified) fixes for CTDs are: Motherboard BIOS update, Video drivers (for GeForce2s I think). The general approach everyone takes is to update all the hardware drivers you have and see if it fixes it. I would do the MB BIOS update last and only if nothing else fixes it.
