    Hey all,
Just got battlefield 1942 and I decided to pickup a joystick so I could fly.
I got the wingman extreme, but I can't get the game to recognize it at all.
I tried binding the buttons through the wingman profiler, but that doesn't seem to work. Battlefield 1942 just won't recognize the joystick at all - but its plugged into the USB port and windows shows its' status as "OK".
Anyone have any suggestions, or anyone else using a joystick? Anyway to get BF1942 to recognize this damn thing?
    Thanks,
    JQ

I tried an ordinary koystick and it too won't work. I ended up using just my mouse for flying. Albeit a little disconcerting, I have gotten a little better at it, even been shooting down eneemy planes with it.
U should try their forums as some guys seem really good piloting the planes, shooting everyone down and providing withering ground support.
