I picked up this gem for $5.50 at Target and I'm suprised how good it looks. Heck, I have new releases that do not look as good as this movie considering that it's almost 40 years old !!...It's a blast watching the old Batman as an adult with my kids and having all these childhood memories
come back. It's the best five bucks I've ever spent.

I just saw this for the first time on my birthday a week ago, and I too had fun watching it. I especially liked Frank Gorshin's performance as The Riddler. I still enjoy the way he plays that character as much as I did when I was a child. Watching this movie made me really want to watch the TV series again...I hope it comes out on DVD someday.

Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!

Seriously, I know she wasn't available at the time, but I still prefer Julie Newmar as Catwoman. Like Adam West said, she caused strange stirrings in my utility belt(!)

I picked this up at my local Zellers on Boxing Day of last year for $7.99. I agree that for the price, it is a stellar disc. The movie itself looks wonderful, not to mention the plethora of special features. Having not seen the series for many years, it was definitely great to watch this movie again.

They don't make them like they used to.

If they remade this movie today, would all be about
    special effects, violence, sex,etc.

There's a new disc announced on TVShowsonDVD.com, consisting of documentaries of the old series. Hope this is a precursor to the release of the whole 1966 series on DVD.

Great movie; great value for the price.

I've been meaning to pick this up for a while now and for $5.50 at Target, it's hard to go wrong. I think my kids would like it(I know I will[IMG])

The price is more than right for a film that is not only a camp superhero classic, but also a tribute to the nobility of the almost-human porpoise.

"Hand me down that shark-repellant bat-spray"

You hum it, I'll play it.
