For those interested, I received a Columbia House TV shows mailer yesterday for a free DVD. They are now showing that the Batman Animated Series stuff is available on DVD. I imagine it is the same as the videotape series they released since the DVDs have 4 episodes each and the covers look the same.

It is not showing on the website yet.

Yes I believe the first Batman: Animated Series dvd was released about 8 months ago.....that is the only one available so far though. I have been meaning to get it. I wish they would release subsequent discs faster though.......

Aaron, I think you are thinking of Warners release "The Legend Begins" that has 5 episodes. Columbia House's version is different.

I have the Col House VHS tapes and yes they are grouped by Theme.
I dont have them in front of me, but the Joker episodes are on 1 disc, grotesque villians on another and so on.

I REALLY want these by season,in order that they aired.

The Animated Batman discs have done pretty well and its obvious the demand is there - I dont understand why WB hasnt tried harder to get these out for us[IMG]

Just out of curiosity how is Columbia House getting the rights to release these discs?
