I was lookin on ebay at Bass Shakers and there seems to be two brands Aura and Butt Kickers, why are the Aura's so much cheaper, do they work pretty good too, even if they were a bit weaker it would be cheaper to buy 4 of them than one butt kicker. anyone have the aura's or been able to compare the two?

I previously owned Aura Bass Shakers. Three of these attached to a row of three home theater seats inexpensively enhanced the LFE, but response below 40 Hz declined dramatically.

I replaced three Aura bass shakers with one Buttkicker II. This generates much more force and responds down to 5 Hz. Here is a link to a review. Buttkicker

I guess for them as a first purchase as far as bass shakers go in my HT on a budget, I would probably be happy with them, I plan to install 2 per couch and one per chair, then down the road I will upgrade to Butt Kickers one at a time.
