I've been thinking about getting this DVD for it's obvious "camp" value. Then I started reading reviews and it actually sounds like an enjoyable film.

I see the DVD listing it as p/s and "widescreen" but the packaging makes no metion of anamorphic. It's listed as anamorphic on Amazon but digitallyobssed.com has a review that lists it as non-anamoprhic (although the reviewer doesn't mention anything one way or another in his picture-quality text).

So what is it...it is 16x9? It's an Artisan DVD so it could go either way.

    thanks!

It is a dual layer disc with both 16:9 anamorphic widescreen and 4:3 pan & scan presentations. The video bit rate is a bit low with a few noticeable compression artifacts, but the music sounds nice and it is otherwise a decent presentation.
