Bad news for ASB 2004 XBox (1 Viewer)

Looks like head to head online play will most likely be shelved. Content updates are still most likely gonna be available through live though. Too bad too as I was really looking to get this and play head to head(as I plan on having an XBox by the start or early part of the baseball season).

unless the pitcher/batter interface isn't perfected online it would never work. lag would also be a major problem, something i notice A LOT with nfl2k3. that means i am scratching this game off of my list, and will probably just get high heat.

That's a bummer. If they do scrap the XBL play, then it's definitely off my list. Are any baseball games confirmed to be XBL enabled this year?

The Sega game isn't going to be XBox live playable, I believe, and obviously, the EA game won't be. Are there any others?

Haven't seen any news on the PS2 version dropping online play. However, if the XBox version is having online play dropped, I'd be genuinely suprised to see the online play make it into the ps2 version. If i find anything i'll post.

The main reason I think it may still be in the PS2 version is becasue Acclaim was pretty successful bringing ATV Offorad Fury 2 online, so they're probably pretty well-versed with PS2 online.

Or not. We'll see.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't ATV Offroad Fury 2 a Sony Computer Entertainment title? I could've sworn it is.
