I was watching the season 2 set of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, and one of the discs in the set (disc 3) locks up a couple of times in two of the episodes (What's My Line, part 2, and Ted). Does anyone else have this problem? Do you know any way for me to exchange the bad disc without having to replace the entire set?
    Thanks.

Just take it to any store and say "Got this asa gift, one disc is bad". They don't care if you're just exchanging for same title

    Eric--
What they told you is complete b.s. The store doesn't lose money. They get reimbursed for it because it is damaged/defective. He made it sound as though people are buying them online and then trying to get the store to give them their money back without a receipt, which NO store would do, they would only exchange, and for the SAME title. Yeah, you could have brought it back to any store that carries that title, they wouldn't know the difference.
I bought Felicity season one off of cdnow.com but got it cheaper at Target after it had shipped already. Well, when I got it in the mail, I just brought the cdnow one to Target with my recept from the one I purchased before (i already opened it and started watching it) and there was no problem. How were they to know if I bought it from their store? A UPC is a UPC..... [IMG]

Most places I go to will just swap the offending disc to avoid just that

They open up the foldout, they take disc #X from the new set, put it in the set you brought in. Put the bad disc in the new set and put that on the defect pile

That way you don't have to come back
