Just saw the trailer for this:
    http://us.imdb.com/Title?0280486
I really like Anthony Hopkins and Chris Rock, just not for the same reasons...
Bruckheimer producing, Schumacher directing, this might sting a little.
Sounds like it might be funny. I'm still worried.

Im not worried. Since Hopkins is my favorite actor, I will certainly see it.

I've seen the trailer a few times and this one LOOKS awful. Nary a laugh to be found, the banter is strained at best and the action scenes look anemic.

As I'm a fan of good action flicks, I certainly hope my initial impressions are proven wrong.

I am a fan of good action flicks as well, and I did find some of the jokes in the trailer funny, especially the one about Rap Music,
of course Sir Anthony did deliver the line...

Anthony Hopkins is so brilliant, IMO, that I can't imagine he would attach himself to anything bad, so I still have faith. I've always enjoyed Chris Rock's stand up performances as well as his SNL appearances. Imagining the two together seems like a non sequitur. Which is probably the point.
