Mine! Back to the Future II is one of my favorite movies of all time :D
Just remember to watch out of the Full Screen versions of this set (you just know it is gonna happen).

Dec 12th is a good date frankly, it allows for a bit of breathing space given E.T, Episode 2, Band of Brothers, Spider-Man, Fellowship of the Ring...etc...etc all come a short while before it.

I'm happy with the date.

I'm not interested in the whole trilogy, just the first movie. Is there any cover artwork (large or small) for BTTF#1?

GASP!!! Do I sense a public execution coming here?!?! :) :) Although I think that the 3rd one was the weakest of the 3, its still worth buying the whole set just to show Universal how foolish they were to wait this long with this set.

Dharmesh, you do know the news that the R1 set will have more extras than the R2s/R4s... right?

R1 BTTF artwork:

I dont know about you guys, but i seriously think the other artwork a A LOT better. This one looks like a promo poster or a flyer, not a cover. Ill take the other artwork anyday over this one.

Re the Artwork:
"Great scott."
"I know, this is heavy."
I wish they'd use better artwork. Who the heck do they get to design these things? But, in any case I don't really care. As long as I get my BTTF trilogy in OAR Anamorphic Glory and DTS I'll be in heaven. :D

Then allow me to mention some things that are new info:
  • All three films presented in Dolby 5.1 and DTS 5.1
  • Mail-in offer for a die-cast DeLorean car
  • $5 rebate for purchase of both BTTF trilogy and E.T.
  • The BTTF Trilogy DVD set will be advertised on a number of DVD's (such as this week's A Beautiful Mind!) and also in theaters in front of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers!
