Finally, for the first time tonight I am seeing Back to the Future in widescreen! Thank you Turner Classic Movies! I cannot wait for the DVD.

    Also this version wasn't edited!

I know, isn't it great? I'm a big fan of the film, and have never seen it in widescreen before. I love the tigher framing... much better than full frame to me.

Thanks for the posting. I didn't know this was being aired tonight and it is very nice to see in OAR. I can't wait for the DVD!

TCM has become my movie non-rental system. I look up TCM's guide and watch every movie I ever wanted to see through them. Sure, Ted might be a douche, but the man is alright in my book for showing movies uncut, no commercials, and in OAR! AMC can suck it..... HARDCORE!.

Ok, sorry for that last bit there, but I still insist they suck it hardcore.

The moment I get Tivo is the moment I become a TCM shut-in.

I believe I've heard occasional grumblings that TCM will edit for exceptional content?

I have the special Trilogy box set with the Making of Back To The Future tape (the one that shows the older Biff fading out scene that was cut from BTTF II). Was that set in widescreen? I don't recall whether it was or not as it's been over two years since I saw a movie on a VCR.
