David you make a good point about the financing but what can I say I only like to buy things when I actually have the money. I think I'm a dying breed
Plus there still seemms to be concerns regarding copy protection on HDTVs. With regards to the digital out I was thinking the same thing. I've recently been reading about the new Denon AVR-5803 and the new DVD player with a DVD-Audio out, the whole set up sounds great, except for the $$$$$
