there is some kind of a hook behind the dm600 speakers...how does one use it...is it used to hook it up on the wall somehow...and also with the package there were 4 white sticky cork like stuff..how does one use that..?

The hook is to wall mount the speakers. You just need a screw or nail into a stud then hang the speaker by the bracket on the screw/nail head.

I don't know if they're supposed to be sticky but those might be port plugs. They're there because the 600's are rear ported, you may have to plug them if you hang them and cover the ports.

I think the ones that came with my set were black.

The DM 602 S3's come with port blockers that look just like miniature SVS port blockers. Kind of cute.
