b&w center speaker orientation(lcr60) (1 Viewer)

how does it matter whether the center speaker is horizontal or vertical ? i noticed that the b&w logo is fit in for a vertical alignment of the center speaker and the manual also says something like you can have it vertical..but i have seen in pics and stuff everywhere that the center speaker is horizontal.....any ideas

I have the LCR6 positioned vertically. If you notice, the baffle around the tweeter is actually elliptical, which results in better horizontal dispersion with the speaker in the vertical position. This makes for a much wider sweet spot than with the speaker in the horizontal position IMO.

Switching from horizontal to vertical will likely chance the height of the tweeter relative to the listeners ears (and relative to your front speakers).

This may or may not be an issue for your environment—and it’s not necessarily bad—it could be good.
