I want to get new bookshelf speakers and I am considering the B&W CDM 1NT speakers. The problem I have is that the CDM CNT is too large to fit in my entertainement system. The dealer suggested that I got the B&W CMC to go with the CDM 1NT. What do you gyus think? Are the CDM 1NT and CMC match?
Or should I go with the CM2 and CM C instead?
    Thanks

General rule of thumb is to match all three speakers across the front. But there are many here who report not having any problem with a center channel that differs from the mains.
Of course, the best way to judge is to try the different combinations before you buy. Generally, the CDMs are going to sound more open than the CMs. But the difference might not be that great. The problem is that once you are able to do a close comparison between the CDMs and the CMs, you might not be satisfied with the CMs.
