B&W 602's ... anything else ? (1 Viewer)

For those looking for a discount on B&W and in Fl, I was in Sound Advice today and saw that they are having their annual sale and a lot of their B&W stuff was marked 30% off. This even beats their buy 1, get one 50% sale.

Well I decided on the 602's, they are taking my 303's in as trade-in (I only have 3 of them), I'm getting 5 602's and brackets and such for $1800 CDN taxes in. I think it's a great deal for the quality of these speakers.

I auditioned a few things and they sounded fantastic, they have a theatre setup there with 5 of these bad boys, there was on sub in the room and well let me tell you, I put in Toy Story 2 to give it a work-out and there was 0 distortion and LOTS of low end bass, you can almost live without a sub with 5 of these, they are damn amazing! They had them set to large of course, running on a Rotel 1066.

Congratulations, get ready for a good ownership experience.
I've had my 602s for over 3 years and have no intention of upgrading ever. Believe me you will be happy.
By the way you should hear them with good separates driving.

Actually I did hear them with all Rotel seperates, it was amzing! Nice setup Phil!

Only thing I may have a problem with is the centre, they suggested putting it on it's side but I think I'll build a small stand.

Congrats! You'll love them. Make sure you break them in for at least 40-50 hours. The kevlar drivers take a bit to loosen up. When they do, you'll notice much more smoothness in presentation.

BTW, just curious, how were you able to get the "odd" one? The 602's come in pairs.

My dealer splits them up, you purchase 1 at a time of ANYTHING at my dealer.

So I'm getting 5 602's and will get another later for 6.1.
