B&K Ref 50 sound problem (1 Viewer)

Donnie,
A quick question: as you stated somewhere, one of the V1.04 benefit is, the pass thru analog contents on SACD/DVD-A to surround back speakers, bypassing matrix/digital processing, thus mirroring surrounds. This alone, I think, might make the upgrade from 1.03 to 1.04worthwhile. Do you notice any *difference*? your thoughts? TIA

Anybody know what AKM DAC's the B&K ref 50 and AVR 507 are using.

If my memory serves me correct they are either the AK4394,

One model newer then the dacs in the AVM20.
This also may have changed.
Sorry it's been awhile, we have just been enjoying the sweet sound of the Ref50, Nice to have a trouble free product

According to B&K they are the AKM 4394's which are not enabled for 192/24 playback but can be.
