Did B&K fix the digital audio dropout problem I've been hearing so much about? Is this problem only on sources hooked up to the coaxil and toslink input/outputs?

Do you have to hook a DVD player up with an analog connection to avoid this?

If you hook your DVD player up to an analog connection you will not be able to utilize DD or DTS. The dropouts are normal for the B&K piece. I am not sure but I don't feel they have fixed the problem(s). I think the new software 1.04 has helped in this regard. Hope this helps.

I believe the problem is mostly limited to HDTV and satellite decoder boxes . This hasn't effect any other components that I am aware of.
