I'm wondering what the owners of B&K's AVR 507 reciever & Reference 50 pre/pro actually paid. I'm not asking where, just how much. The prices determine what components my next upgrade will involve. Much thanks!

I am surprised no one wants to reveal the prices they pay. Even though this is not what you asked for, I paid 2K for my NIB Ref 7250. Tweeter has some Ref 30's floating around for $1498 that you can upgrade for $498 to a Ref50 minus balanced connections. So if balanced connections are not important to you I think 2K for a Ref50 is a good price, IMHO. If someone paid lower please reveal your price.

I think you'll be more likely to get a better response posting what a dealer is quoting you and asking if it's a good price, rather than just wanting to know what people paid. Just my 2 cents.

I purchased a used Ref 50 from Audiogon for $2000...no problems what so ever.
