B&K 507 question (1 Viewer)

I just got a AVR 507 today and i have one question. I am using 4ohm speakers and with my old receiver i had to go into setup and choose between 8 and 4 ohms. I cant see anywhere in the manuel to select the correct ohms.
Will it automatically be ok for my speakers?

There's no setting to change between 4 & 8ohms. It just handles it. I have a Ref50, same processor. My speakers are 4ohm as well (PSB Stratus Silveri's). It just means my amp(B&K Ref200.5) will almost double down for loud transient peaks from 200wpc to 375wpc. The 507 works the same way. I had a 307 for almost a year, before owning a Denon 5803 which also worked the same way, it just handled it.
